New York Fashion Magazine Blog Review

Of course one of the endless blogs that inundates the viewer with ads before you even get a chance to see some actual content. The first in view to the right is the proverbial Sprint wireless advertisement (because of course there's nothing more fashionable than a dildo standing in a public line talking on his/her cell phone.....so Sprint makes sure their signal blankets the Earth so those cell phone chumps can drive us nuts everywhere). Right above the Sprint ad one will find the "designer Sale" ad for Bergdorf Goodman. All in all though there is much less whoring of wares at first sight as compared to most other "fashion review" blogs/sites. At first glance I do like the layout. It of course reminds one of the fashion pull-out from your Sunday New York Times One of the more amusing posts in the TRENDS section was the slide show title "Anti-Skank Crusade" although skank is very VERY subjective these days. Another amusing portion was the article title Paris Men Are Fit to Be Tied which extols the virtues of the relationship between modern man (yes men) & scarves. I always love it when the world of the boring & meaningless (pretty much everyone rich or poor ugly or pretty) attempts to "go glam" like a scarf or perhaps some eyeliner is going to raise the level of the mystique of their.....ummm....mystique. The section titled The Look Book seems to be one of the more redeeming facets of the site considering that you can click through & find a variety of characters with actual substance & real stories of success not handed down on a silver platter.
