Once long ago, in a few countries the colour purple would only be worn to funerals, but in this modern world the color has been transformed to everyday day life, and is more in demand than ever.

Designers use this dashing colour on their most stylish piece of work and us females and even males, crowd the stores daily to get our own. It was the color for 2011 but is still quite fashionable for 2012. But the best thing the colour has taken over is shoes. They range from expensive designer brands; Gucci, dolce and Gabbana, Vercace and Prada to more affordable brands found in regular stores and online.

There are so many different shades to choose from, the outrageous dark magenta and vulgar purple ones for partying, rock and dancehall, and the cool and quiet shades of lavender and mauve for an evening dinner. For those elderlies, there are the low heeled or no heels at all for you, which you can get at extremely affordable prices, and for you young women, the stilettos are screaming your name.

Purple shoes are a choice great for almost any occasion except probably for a job interview depending on what you are wearing. Some fit better with dark and neutral colours while others look best with bright colours. A lighter shade of the colour in a dress can go with a bright shade of purple shoes, topped off with a bright purple earring, bracelet or necklace. They can even go with different colours as long as they create a blend.

Take care to choose the style wisely. On a summer day, a pair of purple flats can be accessorized with shorts and a nice tank top. For church, a pair of pumps, not too high as if you’re at a club, but an appropriate pair with a nice dress. When going clubbing, you could wear a purple stiletto and a mini dress which wousld be suitable and not to mention sexy.
